The RBA has again announced that rates are to remain steady at 4.75%.

It not surprising to see this occur as we've observed lenders lowering their fixed rates in recent weeks.  At the moment it's easy to secure a 3 year fixed rate close to what is on offer for a variable loan.  In real terms you could expect to achieve 6.99% on a 3 year fixed term.
